This post actually puts expenses of a trip like most people want to take into light. Few consider far beyond the flight, hotel and car hire expenses, possibly budgeting in much less than is necessary for food, and then going green after about the 4th day in realising their money hasn’t gone as far as they’d hoped. It’s nice to see something like this from people who are well traveled enough to give people a heads up before they jump into a place like Barcelona, which is high on any tourism list.
