Ginny, look at the Travelon bags, either at the Travelon website or on Amazon. (Some of them are priced less on Amazon.) They are slashproof and have shoulder straps that are cut proof. Plus, they have RFID secure pockets. The bags come in all sizes and styles. I just bought one for my trip to Italy in the fall and love the style, size and design.

I am worried about my bag being slashed. I currently have a cross-chest camera bag that easily slides around for front access. Any input?

I’ll be spending just over 2 months in Europe later this year and I too will be only taking my RX100M2.

I highly agree. Every review I’ve watched on YouTube has nothing but good things to say for the Sony RX100. So, for my Europe trip I will be gladly taking my RX100M2. It is by far the best pocketable-sized camera. The build of this camera screams quality, the same can be said for the image performance and it’s low-light capabilities.

So much awesome information! My boyfriend recently got one of those super cool phones that has the really awesome camera so we were thinking we would just take pictures on that but I’m worried about him having enough space. Any thoughts or recommendations?

What do you think goes into a perfect day bag? like a messenger style bag that can easily swing around? I do carry around my dslr, but it’s a chore sometimes.

I am thinking of getting a Panasonic Lumix Fz200 but isn’t sure the zoom is enough considering many bridge camera go super zooom 50x or 60x. Should I consider bringing my canon 40d or buy a bridge camera?
