It does not have a firm backwall. However, I can’t imagine that you couldn’t safely and comfortably fit a laptop in the bag even when it is stuffed to the max.

I have the minaal backpack and really love it. But theres one problem with it. When you pack it full, the laptop compartment bends. I dont own a laptop at this point but thinking of buying one. And i am afraid that i will break the laptop using my minaal.
Does the tortuga have a hard backwall to protect the laptop ?
