I just did a trip through Europe and read all the tips in this page. Before travelling we decided to not buy a package and we planned everything. Some really wonderful tips. I will be going solo in Europe at beginning of May. Not a teenager anymore, but still energetic enough to jump into the unknown. I must say, research, research, research is what keeps my feet on the ground. Cannot wait!

I bought the xshot (“selfie stick”) for my digital camera and it’s a great way to take pictures of you and your travel partner without having to ask a stranger. A small tripod and self-timer on the camera also helps

Great article that is PACKED full of great advice. I’m heading to Italy for my first European trip in 4 days and I am excited to utilize this information. I especially like the advice to take pictures of yourself. I find myself with hundreds of photos in every city and maybe one or two selfies. While I enjoy the scenery, many friends and family prefer when I am in the photo too. 🙂
